Skills, Training & Expertise
Since 2016, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in service dog training through my leadership of the Courageous Companions Owner-Trained Program based in Edmonton, Alberta. This role has involved working directly with service dog teams, overseeing training progress, conducting public access evaluations, and administering certification assessments when required.
In 2020, I launched Holdfast K9, an owner-trained service dog program operating throughout the Edmonton Capital Region. This program continues to provide individualized support and structured training for handlers and their service dogs in training.
I am a Certified Service Dog Trainer, credentialed by MSAR Service Dogs in Winnipeg, Manitoba—a nationally recognized service dog training organization.
